Finquil

Question
Hi, I'm back! I should have known it wasn't that easy. I live 45 min. from
everywhere. The pet store said they don't carry Finquil because it kills the
fish. I said that was the point. She said to use baking soda;"it's the same
thing." But it doesn't come with instructions. I tried an aquarium. She didn't
know what I was talking about. "unless they're too big, I just flush them." she
said, "but if you want to euthanize it, put it in a bag of water and put it in the
freezer." I know he is only a 79 cent fish, but I don't want to torture him to
death. Any suggestions? Thanks, Stefani

Answer
wow... contact your local pharmacy and see if they would have a source... also a vetranary clinic in your area may.  The aquarium I work at carries it.  Freezing a fish is very crewl and flushing a sick fish down the toilet is even worse.  let me know and I will do some research too...
