dog breeding and tax laws

hello
I have been wanting to start dog breeding business (and hobby) but was not sure if there were any tax laws involved with this line of business. I live in the uk, and I would like to start the business out of my house for now. Are there any links are book you could refer me too?

hello. it all depends where the dogs will be registered to . for instance if they will be akc registered then you can go to akc.org and find out all their laws. i know that you have to report all money put out on dogs and all money brought in. and you will have a set amount of inspections per year to make sure of how dogs are cared for. i do know that if you only do this as a hobby and dont do alot of breeding then you dont actually have to be a registered kennel or registered business but im not familiar how that would be different from here to the uk. i hope this helps and good luck!!
