Jealousy

Question
Thanks for your kind response to my previous question.  I am having another problem I hope you can help me with, My preg. Female boxer who is 5 weeks along has always been very lovey, but now she is lovey to the point of craving my attention constantly, she wants to be a lap dog which I have allowed in the past (rarely) but now she wants near me all the time and wants to be pet ALL the time, will not let her mother near me, she growls seriously at her mother hackles up on both dogs, I have had to put them both in their crates, then pull them one at a time to give them attention, when I am not around, they get along wonderfully, but when I am near they posture aggressively at each other and growl neither wants to back down, I think this may be a hormonal thing and hope things will not escalate. What do you think?

Answer
Pregnant dogs do tend to get very clingy and needy. It's something you just have to live with. The aggressive posturing when you're around is a different thing entirely. You have a problem with pack order in your home. Go to  the Alpha Boot Camp website for instructions and information to help you establish and maintain pack order in your home. I think you'll find it solves a myriad of problems and will change yours and your dogs lives in a very good way.
Get started on this as quickly as you can to provent this from becoming an even worse situation, and it definitely will progress. And you're very welcome for my earlier response :)
Good luck
