QUESTION: Hi melissa its me again :) umm so I'm not reay sure if my dog is pregnant now I thot she was but now idk if she is preg she wud b at 31 days so how can I tel? Or wen wil I know???

ANSWER: if shes at day 31 a vet can palpatate her to see if shes pregnant. also, the hair around her nipples may be starting to thin out. she probably would not be showing yet. around day 40 the vet can ultrasound her to confirm pregnancy and day 48 to xray her to see how many pups she is having. other then that its a waiting game! at 31 days she wouldnt be showing too many signs yet. i hope this helps and good luck!

QUESTION: Ok we'll I asked my vet if they wud palpatate her they said the only thing they cud do is x ray her n I kinda tried to do it but I can't tel so I mean she's a small dog I just figured I'd know sumthn by now

my vet will palpatate but some vets wont. also, if there is a experienced breeder in your area you can ask them and they usually will. you could always wait it out and find a vet that will do an ultrasound around 40-42 days. depending on your area depends on price. ive had the same vet for so long and if i take mine in it costs around $50 or $35 for xray around 50 days. is the hair starting to thin around her nipples? did her nipples and vagina stay swelled after heat?
