Question
Hi, I have two male dogs and 1 female.  The female has just been bred.  I am wondering if when the pups are introduced to the father (when they are old enough) will he know that the pups are his?

Answer
Hi Kelly. No, dogs don't think like we do. He won't have a clue really that they're his. If he has a good temperament, he may play with them, and teach them. By teach them, I mean that if the pups get too rowdy, he may roll them. He will help teach them doggie stuff (pack behavior) that they need to know, whether he knows he's doing it or not.:-)
