Small Chihuahua Pregnant by Malitpoo??

Hi I have a small chihuahua,, she got her period about 3 weeks ago and it kind of stopped yesterday. During all this time I was very careful that my sister's dog (maltipoo) wouldn't get near her so he wouldn't get her pregnant. My little 4 year old niece took my chihuahua outside to play with the other dog yesterday and I'm not sure if he got her or not. I'm scared that he might of gotten her pregnant and that she might be too small in size to have puppies from a bigger sized dog. My dog is going to be one yr next month and this was the first time she got her period. I'm scared that she might have complications if she is pregnant.

And you are right to be worried. You can either have her spayed now to be sure she doesn't have a difficult pregnancy and whelping (One that could kill her), you can wait to have her ultrasounded at a month past the date she possibly got bred, see how many pups she has and set up a preplanned cesearian section, or you can wait and see what happens and possibly lose your girl. I would spay her immediately if it were me,
