if my pit is pregant

i got my dog all most 3 weeks ago she is all most a year old the person that gave her to use didnt tell us that she wad pregant and last night she was layen on the bed and a mucous plug came out what is goin to happen now what do i do???

Hi Tonie

You want to make a whelping box or have an area where she can quietly and safely whelp her litter.  If her plug came out she will whelp within the next 10 days.

I would contact the previous owners and ask who/what she was bred with and when.  You may want to do x-rays if she was bred with an unknown breed.
