Molly Mae Hi there! So happy to have found you! We have a 1.5 yr old Mini Schnauzer (our baby!) and I was just wondering how long she should bleed for. We are going to breed her next Spring. She is bleeding all over my house! I have the diapers you can buy, but she won't keep them on. Thanks! Janna

Hi Janna. Dog's heat usually lasts 21 days. They can bleed through the whole thing. Some dogs will taper off towards the end, and not bleed so heavily, some bleed heavy for three weeks. Each dog is different. Some dogs are so clean you never know they're in heat, some girls could care less and are messy. Good luck, and if I can help with anything else, let me know!
