my dog is still bleeding after birth

my nabours dog had puppies June the 2009 so they are about a week old i think if i have the date right well mom has pinkish reddish  well shes spotting should they be worried oh shes a rottie shep mix my guess she my just  going into heat again as they have another female in heat right now its a little dog or its just a little stuff from having 9 pups

If she's just had pups, she can bleed and spot for weeks after.  She shouldn't come into heat for another 4 months.

The concern with any bleeding, that all the placenta's and afterbirth have been expelled.  A retained placenta or even pup would become toxic and fatal for a dam.
