Question
My dog is a Maltipoo and she mated with a pure maltease and her name is Peaches and she's 18 months old. I never had her pregnant before or get a dog pregnant. She had her puppies on August 10, 2008. She had 4, 3 girls and 1 boy. So, they are about 2 weeks old now. I've been looking online and asking what I should feed them, how to feed them and when to feed them ( the age ) and the only thing that it came up with is 2 weeks old and nothing else.So can you tell me what food I have to feed them and how? And is this really the age to feed them? Can you help puppies and me out? Thanks.

Answer
Hi Taylor

You really don't have to start worrying about feeding them until they are 3 weeks or older.

The easiest is to start by a good quality raw or canned.  A couple of tablespoons in a saucer to begin with.  Then as they get use to eating solids, mix in kibble.

Good luck.
