How long to wait til mating my dogs again

My dog just had puppies 6 weeks ago and my male is trying to mate with her again already. She is allowing him to mount her. I was just wondering if i should keep them seperate or if its ok for them to mate again so soon? Thank you

Hi. She's not back in heat this early. I'm not sure what's going on that's making the male want to breed her, or why she's allowing it. I'd definitely keep them seperated and get her to the vet to figure out what's going on with her. It's way to early for this. If you're going to breed her again in the future, I'd get her to the vet first to find out what's happening here, and wait until the second heat cycle before breeding her again. Good luck!
