Hi i just wanted to ask a question i have a 2 year 5 month old purebred border collie female

she was mated 6 months ago and has started her season as of the the 4th of march

I have a male border collie he is 1 year 4 months and has started to act nuts since 2 days ago crying and barking a little which is the females day 12 in season the same day she ovulated the last season when she was mated and had puppies i wanted to Findout is it possible she is ovulating on the same day again as my male has been quite until 2 days ago which was day 12 and is still making a bit of a noise ovulation dosent it stop after 2days or is it 3?

Each female is different, but yes it is possible that this particular female ovulates on her 12th day.  

The egg takes 7 days to mature.  So unless you do progesterone testing you're gambling.  The entire season last about 21 days, so if you don't plan on breeding her back to back. You're going to have keep her and your male separated for a few more weeks.
