Hi! My name is Elias and I have a 6yo female pug that are trying to have babies for its first time. Is there a recommended age that breed shouldn't be encouraged?

Pugs have a number of health and whelping issues, so you want to ensure that your female is in tip top health and that she is both physically and mentally fit.

Have a vet check her out before you consider breeding, if she's overweight or needs an extra boost of vitamins, it's best to put her on a program a few months BEFORE you consider breeding her.
