Shih tzu bowel movements

Question
I have a 12 day old Shih tzu, that I am feeding with a syringe. My concern is that she only moves her bowel every 24 to 36 hours. Is this normal at this age and what can I expect. I am feeding her 9ml of baby dog food formula every 3 hours.

Hi Patricia - Can you put a little bit of rice cereal....the kind you would give a human baby.
Just to add a little fiber to the formula.
