conception day??

Question
If I had my bitch with the stud for two weeks, how will I know when to start counting for her due date? I know the date she started her heat, but how can I know the day she conceived?

You should count from the first tie or A.I. (artificial insemination) 58-63 days and if she has not delivered puppies by this time then you will add one day to each day for every day after that for which she was bred until you have reached the end of the last day she was bred on if on the last day she was bred you have reached day 63 and she has not delivered puppies and you have been taking a temperature starting on day 57 from the first day and her temperature has dropped to 98 degrees at any point and she has not delivered puppies within 24 hours she has dumped (gone to the bathroom, not eaten, digging in her bed) begun pushing and not produced a puppy then take her to a vet immediately.  I usually do not breed a bitch for this reason more than 3 times on her cycle and it is once every other day I mark it on the calender and if she ties on day 1 and again on day 3 and again on day 5 I know for sure she has taken especially if she gets that funny little walk and then she will get really lazy or not eat and sometimes they get sick or they either eat like crazy or they refuse to eat and in about 2 weeks they will get teets that swell.  But their vulva will stay puffy for sure.  I usually always can count that first tie as the one that took.  Hope this helps.  Good luck and let me know how things go.  PS in about 3 weeks you can probably palpatate for little egg shapes (those are puppies)
