feeding new shih tzu puppy; blood stool in puppy;

Question
we recently bought a shih-tzu 7 weeks old it was the runt a female. The lady told us to just give her mild until she get's all her teeth. She also told us that she was a week late for her shots. Well long story short she went and got her first set of shots yesterday and the lady at the pet store told me to by her some puppy milk and hard dog food and mix it with soft dog food. Also to leave food in her dish. Well she eats like the world is going to end tomorrow and when she uses the restroom literally her poo has blood in it. We are very concerned.

Hi - BEST wishes on the new shih tzu pup!  Keep an eye on the blood stool-  a small amount of blood less than a dime is fine.  If you see more blood, please call the vet.
Also, keep feeding the dry food with the pup formula on top.
I would also give her 2 teaspoons per day of low fat cottage cheese ( just for a few weeks)-
If her poops get loose, give 1 teaspoon per day of PURE canned pumpkin. ( no added sugar kind)
