10 week shih tzu

My husband gave me a 10 week old shih tzu for a birthday gift and by is he cute!  We have had him for a few days and I noticed his ears smell like dirty feet.  Is there something that I should be doing?

He could either have an ear infection or ear mites, he will need to see your vet to be checked out.  Either way he will need medication.  Good catch!
Enjoy him, he needs to be checked out anyway by your vet to get a once over, make sure he is current on his vaccines, rabies, wormer and scheduled for neuter (before he starts to mark).  Hope this helps and best wishes for the birthday!
