newborn shih tzu ?

My 15 day old female shih tzu (the runt) of the litter keeps spewing milk out of her nose and makes a wheezing sound mostly when picked up sleeping.  Main concern why is milk keep pouring out her nose?? She is finally at the 1LB mark, but still smaller than the 3 boys.  What do I do in this situation??  How can I stop the milk from pouring out and make her breathing more quiet like her brothers???  Pls help.
Will take to vet, but vet saw her with milk pouring out when she was 3 days old and just said " keep an eye out for her".  Any better advice??

It sounds like maybe your puppy has what is a cleft palate.  http://www.shilohgtf.com/Cleft%20Lip_Palate.htm  This is a good webpage of information you can check out and see if these signs and symptoms sound correct. There are other helpful links on care and feeding puppies with cleft palate, etc. Your puppy needs to see a vet for immediate care and whether or not surgery will be an option.  Hope this helps and best wishes.
