my dog just had puppies 4hrs ago but the puppies don't want to eat yet from the mom.  What can i do i don't want them to die

Hi Mary,  Many times they just want to sleep.  Give it a little more time.  Keep them warm and try to stimulate them to wake up... It may be that they are just wiped out from the birth process.  Get some eye dropper syringes ready and some pup formula. If you do syringe feed just allow a few drops to the side of the mouth.  You can also place some formula on to MOM's nipples..  BEST wishes...
