Shih Tzu mating and vitamin e ; NuVet Plus and shih tzu

my 18 month old female is in heat, and my 7 year old male is trying to mate with her but they never connect to finish the mate. She stands for him and he mounts but nothing lasts. She is just a little smaller than him, and she will be his first bitch. any advice would be appreciated... thank-you.

Hi Cheryl,  You can give the male some vitamin E..  ( They both can have the NuVET Plus Supplement: )  
- YOU can give him some Vitamin E (1) 150IU each day ...
just one per day - it helps ....with the ties...
