QuestionMy Shih Tzu, Angel, has been having eye issues for some time now and the vet keeps giving her polymyxin b sulfate and trimethoprim eye irritation drops but it doesn't seem to go away. She gets this yellowish discharge build-up and I clean her eyes at least twice a day and, in the morning, it is crusty. It seems like it hurts her (or at least it looks like it would hurt me if I had it). Do you know of any other medication I could give her because it doesn't seem like her current medication is working at all?
