Age range for breeding

Question
We have a Shih Tzu that is 6 years old.  She is a beautiful well mannered dog.  Is it too late to let her have a litter of puppies?

Hi Debbie - No it is not too late for her to have some pups.... Just make sure you get to your local vet for a full check-up.  Have them do some blood tests to get a basic level of her health.
She is close to being a little old for this.....So do it soon.
