Maltese / Yorkie Mix

Hi, I have a morkie which is a mix of maltese and yorkie. She woke up in the middle of the night having a problem with her tongue.  Her tongue would not stop going in and out of her mouth, like a licking action.  She vomited white foam twice.  Have you ever heard of a problem like this in this type of dog.  Thanks for your reply.

We have had the same problem with our maltese its so odd you should mention this i am learning so many things and problems that maltesse have in common from this site.
My maltese wakes me up licking and gipping he is  sick white foam and some times it is like a yellow colour (yuck i know) i feel so sorry for him when its happening we have found that it occurs when he has an upset stomach it used to happen after he ate mushrooms and sometimes parts of toys that he had chewed.
We use live yoghurt mixed with a little honey to line and settle his stomach it never seems to be any real problem as he seems fine after a nap later but we have not got to the bottom of it yet.
Has your dog eaten anything odd>? that could have caused an upset stomach.
