Allergies

My Maltese has allergies so bad around his eye lids are red and his eyes tears a lot and he also sneeze a lot. What can I do to help releive him of this misery? Is there anything I can buy over the counter or Is there a home remedy I can use?  Also he has problems with the Third Eye about every 2 months. What can I do about this problem?  Please Help!

Hello Effie - Not much you can do about the "3rd" eye lid, except surgery.  
As for the allergies - YOU may need to change your dog's food.  What brand are you feeding and flavor?  Also, have you been to the vet for any help on this?
