QuestionI just adopted a 2 1/2 yr old male Maltese and he has an awful odor. I had his teeth professional cleaned, 8 rotten teeth were extracted, his anal glands cleaned etc. This was suppose to rid him of the odor. NOT. He still smells. I bath him every three days, and brush his teeth when I bath him. He is an indoor dog. He has not been neutered yet. He goes outside to potty. I keep him in a crate at night. In the day time he follows me and/or goes in his crate. Otherwise he is an angel. The odor seems to be a body odor and not bad breath at this time. He scratches a lot. He does not have ear mites per vet.

AnswerHello Marsha, Sounds like yeast in his blood - systemic yeast is very common. Let's get this kid onto a probiotic and some NuVET pet vitamins/ supplements.
A good probiotic can be found at the health food store or even grocery store... You can get some Acidophalus 1 Billion CFUs-
Give just 1/2 per day....long term / very safe and natural...
Next, please get this little one onto some NuVET plus wafers...
JUST 1 per day - long term..... Will help with the smell, teeth, legs, hips, joints and overall health.
It will also help keep the anal glands empty.
Believe me - the Acidophalus and the NuVET will do the trick!!!
NuVET can be ordered here: Use order code 81098 and ASK for the 15% off Discount... ( call ) 1-800-474-7044
