Maltese HELP!!!

Question
My Fiance has a two year old Maltese and he seems to be great when she is around. (He is attached to her and does not ever leave her side which is annoying and cute) When she is not around he won't play all he will do is lay around. Since we are getting married and don't live together I thought it would be a good idea to bring him around my house to get him used to it. He is doing pretty good but today when I got home I let him out of his bathroom and like normal he went looking for the Fiance. When he did not find her he went back up to the bathroom and peed on the wall and some of my work Polo's. Please advise I try so hard but this dog just does not seem to bond with me at all.

Answer
Lol this is like the problem child only with a dog.
Your maltese sees your fiance as the pack leader he is devoted to her but theres no reason why you cant be in charge too.
The main way in which dogs bond the most is when on a walk by your side.
Honest;y regular walks that dont have to be long will help you with this, also you could cheat a little everytime you come around fetch some raw hide treats healthy and good for teeth but... make sure you make the dog work for it ie make him lay or sit etc he will get used to this affection and eventually when you move together you will just be a normal part of the family... hopefully lol
i really ghope this helps but if you need any more advice please contact again.
Good luck
