Aggressive maltese puppy

Question
Hi, my mother recently bought a male puppy a couple of weeks ago. He is about 12 weeks now. He recently began growling and has bitten two people (myself included. He was not mouthing or being playful. I'm concerned that his aggressive behavior is genetic temperament. It started after his first vaccines when you touched his back or hind quarters. He was brought to the Vet and he said it may be allergies and also his anal glands were full. Is it possible that all this traumatic stuff has made him aggressive. He seemed fine before. Now I don't trust him around me or my children.
Thank you in advance,
Pauline

Answer
Definatley be concerned about this you can never trust any dog 100%!
but your right he may still have discomfort in his anal glands and feel like youare going to irritate them you need tobuild his trust in you but mainly i would suggest a local obeidience class as if your out walking with him he is your responsibility and if he bites a child you could loose your dog because of this, dont worry any problem can be solved but dont let him dominate you the vets is the first port of call for advice they deal with this  stuff day in day out and can reccomend valued dog trainers.
Good luck
