Question
When do Maltese pups become sexually active? Male and female pups, 3 months old.Noticed that male attempting to mate with sister.Is this normal for 3 month old puppy?

it can happen as a puppy but if this is concerning you discuss it with your vet but show the dog it is negative behaviour and say no put him in his basket this may prevent the need for neutering my dog is nearly 2 and hardly ever does it since i showed disapproval....



thanks for the poor feedback its a shame you say that as my time volonterred time is usually appreciated and i have lovely animals that are happy fit and healthy so perhaps you, as i said should ask your vets the questions if you want a precise opinion.

A maltese at two who shows or has not very often in the past shown any of the behaviour you mention is unusual- clearly what i am doing seems to be working and has avoided neutering,
