Miniture maltese at 5 weeks old

QUESTION: I bought a miniture maltese and thought she was 6 weeks old when she was only 4 weeks old. She is not very active sleeps alot and eat a little and drink water she then climbs back in her basket and sleeps. Is she sick or is it normal?

ANSWER: Elaine, Please bring your little Maltese to the vet -
They should have never let her leave the momma until 8 weeks or older.. I like to wait until 11 weeks if possible.
Did her mom pass away?  Why did they let you have her at only 4-5 weeks of age...

QUESTION: I am not sure but there was quite a few of them and was sold as 6 weeks old. I took her to the spca vet yesterday they said I must feed her with milkopap. She is so tiny and so thin. I was up with her the whole of last night feeding her and giving her water, keeping her warm she feels like my 3rd baby. I realy feel like phoning the breeder and giving her a piece of mind for what she did.
Thank you if you have any other advise i would REALLY appreciate it.

Tell her she has done an injustice to the pups.
