QUESTION: Our Maltese is about 9 years old. We got her at 12 weeks and she did great until we moved from a house that had wood floors to one with carpeting.

We have lived at the new house for 5 years and someone is at home almost all day every day.

Occasionally she will just wet on the carpet, sometimes even with you right there watching her.

She seems to have no concept that she is ever in trouble, and thinks that she is the queen of the castle.

ANSWER: Hi Karen,  Well, I sure don't know what to add to this situation.  The first thing I would think is urinary infection?  Otherwise, yes it is behavioral.

QUESTION: What dog food do you recommend? We are on a limited income, so we cannot afford the gourmet brands. Currently we are feeding both pedigree dry and canned.

Look for something with less Junk fillers ....
