Is it bad to get my maltese at 8 weeks of age?

Damien I found someone in la and she had already had a girl Maltese and then took in her friends male Maltese due to moving circumstances. The 2 ended up having a litter of 8 puppies. I was originally getting my puppy at 12 weeks but then she called to ask if I had wanted to get it at 8 weeks instead seeing as the mom is already beginning to cut them off from nursing. Is it bad that I am getting him at 8 weeks instead of 12? Also the puppy I picked was born with a little pink spot on his nose is that okay or should I be scared?

I dont know for sure about the pink spot definatley give your local vet a call to ask for advice also ask what they would reccomend you do in that circumstance.
Its not unusual fot the pups to wean off at 8 weeks however the more they feed from their mom the better anti bodies they get from her milk it helpd build the pups immune system but the breeder shouls also transfer the pup to a regular pup food that you can then continue to feed them.
Make sure this has been done !
