tear stains NuVET Plus ; Tear Stains Maltese Metronidazole ( fish zole):

I have a 9 week old white Morkie and she is getting her gummy tears (like her mother a maltese) how can I take care of this so she would not get a tear stein face.

Sure, I will tell you what helped my Maltese and cured her of some tear stains.  We never did the Angel eyes because it is a long term low grade antibiotic.  I don't mind any antibiotic short term.

We used Fish Zole which is the same thing the vet sells for 10 x higher in price.... and NO RX needed....

Here is what I refer to : clean the eye area with a puppy baby shampoo... Just a small amount on a cotton pad and then a cotton pad with just plain water.  Do this 1-2 x per day.
Once better, do every other days baby shampoo and water pad.

NEXT - Metronidazole 100 tab.  Give you Maltese 1 per day for 2 weeks.  *** Talk to you vet about this product or order it here:

Depends on how bad the health issues or allergies are.

If I see any evidence of excessive tear stains we start up on the Fish zole product 250 mg,  JUST 1 per day for 7 days.
Again, you may want to take with your vet about this Metronidazole drug....It sure does work well on tear stains.
