my maltese terrier

my husband and i recently bought a 3 month olf puppy, in which we were told was a maltese terrier. She is black with a white  strip of hair under her chin. I have never seen a Maltese any other color than white, especially BLACK. I want to know if she is really a maltese terrier. She looks just like a maltese, the only thing is she is black... HELP!

please tel me you didnt pay a lot of money for this pup. she is not a maltese she may be a cross with a maltese but not pure. you will probably love her as much as a maltese but you should not have paid near to what you would pay for a maltese. please look into this as you have been missold any probs contact your local kennel club lol is she cute do you have a pic?
