Question
i have a corn snak which has a lump near its rectum. it hasnt eaten for 3 weeks, and NOT regurgitated at all. it is a male snake at about 44" and as stated, not eaten or shed as a result. we were advised from the store where we purchased th snak that it can eat small mice, and i have reason to believe it may be causing constipation in the digestion tract. please can you give me some advice?

Answer
I don't think it's constipation. I had a snake with the same issue about a year ago. It turned out to be an infection inside the vent (rectum). The lump that you are seeing is most likely puss. You have 2 options. Take the snake to a reptile vet. They will have to drain the area and put the snake on antibiotics. Your other choice is to return to the store and get a refund, especially if it had this problem when you bought it.
