My corn snakes tail

Question
Hi, we have had a baby albino corn snake since September.  He usually sheds once a month.  During one if his more recent sheds, he did not get all of his tail skin off, but left about an inch and a half.  It looks gone now, but since then I've noticed the very tip of his tail is drying up.  It's small, but seems to be getting worse and the dry part is getting bigger.  Is he sick?  I'm afraid his tail might be dying.  He is otherwise quite healthy and eats wonderfully.  Thank you for your help.

Answer
Most likely the dried up part of the tail will eventually die off. It doesn't regrow either. That's just kind of the way it is with snakes. Make sure that you have a humid hide box in the snakes cage each time it's about to shed and that should solve future issues like this. I think I explained how to make a humid hide box in the previous question (maybe 2 questions ago). It's pretty simple to do and solves a lot of shed issues.
