Question
Im i beginer and am wondering if i could keep a corn snake in my garage? (wisconson)if so what heating do i need? also what heating should i use if i keep it in my house? how long should i have a heating pad on?

Answer
It will be hard to keep the right conditions in your garage. You need a warm side and a cool side. The cool side will be no lower than 72 degrees and your warm side no more than 95. The heat pad should be one made for reptile cages and should stay on all the time (they are not adjustable). Here is a link to a corn snake care sheet. It should tell you all you need to know. http://www.reptilecare.com/CornSnakeCaresheet.htm
