boa damaged skin Hi, my boa (she's about 104cms now) has just shed in one piece but in the old skin I found a hole and on the part of the skin were there was this hole, the skin is a little damaged. Since her eyes became blue till she shed I didn't handle her. I sprayed her with lukewarm water 3 times daily till she shed. In her cage there aren't sharp edges or something that she could get hurt with.
Could you tell me what it could be and if I can do something for it, and will the skin remain damaged forever? I attached a photo for you of the part of skin I mentioned.

I have seen this before. I truthfully do not know what causes it. Try putting some triple antibiotic ointment on it for the next month. It is mineral oil based and if it doesn't help, it sure won't hurt. I cannot tell you if it will always be there for sure, but I am leaning 60\40 that it will.
