snake escape

ive got a rat snake and its got out of itz viv and ive tried all the methods of getting it back the flour the cave the food but i was wondering if u could provide me whith someother methods.

Hi Charlie  MANY MANY times have I had a snake escape...and does it ever frustrate me.  You go crazy looking under everything.  I am glad to hear you tried the methods you mentioned.  Food being one of them.  But the best method that works for me is also the simplest.  I just grab a flashlight and between 7-10 pm I start making rounds around the house.  Looking along the floor boards and walls.  That is when they are most active and will come out looking for food/water.  Keep offering a fresh killed mouse every few days or so near the edge of wall where he might be near.  Keep lights off and be prepared to  wait, wait and wait some more.  It will take time but eventually he will show up out of nowwhere.  I've had some of my snakes (big and small) disappear for almost 3 months!!!! Then one day they show up.  Good luck and let me know when you find him :-)
