Question
my fiance and I just got an albino banded california kingsnake and will be getting a striped california kingsnake so we can mate them when they're old enough. we want the right materials to make the best breeding environment and don't know what exactly we need could you possibly help us figure out what we need to have in regards to things like a breeding tank, maybe an incubator we just don't know what we'll need.

Answer
OK, they'll have to be kept separate until time for breeding.  SO 2 tanks.  I cooled my adults from November to January (kept them between 40-72F w/o food), then pulled them out, returned them to normal temps, and began feeding again.  When the female has her first shed after the cooling period leave the shed skin in the tank and introduce the male into the tank as well.  Kept an eye on them!  They are kingsnakes.  Give them 1-3 days together and then return the male to his own tank.  Eggs will follow the next shed (about 10 days after).

Incubate @ 88F.  AS to the incubator there are many choices.  I have used to the same Hovabator Turbo Fan model for over 15 years and it is still going strong!
