moss for boa

Is it ok to use wild moss to put in the tank with my boa constrictor or is there a way of cleaning it to get rid of any bugs that may be present

I doubt you could clean it well enough to get rid of bugs and stuff without messing it up (bleach, microwave, baking).  That being said, who knows if there is anything in it in the first place that might be a problem.  I guess you need to ask yourself, "Is this worth the risk."  The risk I'd be woried about would be mites, but even that risk seems pretty low to me.
