Question
hi, i am a 15 year old boy who has recently purchased a albino king corn snake, it is about 4 foot long. its now been in a long tank with heater, substrate hiding place, lighting ect. i have fed it at the right times and days but it is really nasty it seems to hiss and rattle its tale it wont let me touch it, if i do it will bite or arc up its back and move away. it has nearly shed all of its skin with only his head to go, there are some scales raised and a red line near upper end, i am deeply concerned PLEASE HELP !!!!!!  THANK YOU

Answer
Could your snake have gotten burnt? The skin should shed in one piece, the skin at the head should come off first! It sounds like your set up is not right. What are your temperatures and what type of heating are you using? Are you using a thermostat? I think your snake needs to see a vet, it may be in pain which could by why its so angry
