Loopy corn!

Question
We have a corn snake which we have had since he was about 6months old (according to the store so you never know)and have no idea on sex. We have since rescued another corn who is over a year but we are unsure how much. Recently the two snakes have met each other and whilst the original snake has always been active, the new snake has gone from being rather shy and nocturnal to being out at all times of the day rubbing itself on the glass looking like it is trying to escape.

Is this a sign of sexual maturity in the new snake? The original snake doesn't seem interested in the new one at all?

Any ideas?

Answer
Hello Charlie from Bristol. The most likely reason is that the old corn is unsetteled by the new one. I have see this a lot when I put 2 snakes together. It could be a sign of breeding, so watch out, you may be buying an incubator! I had that happen with 2 macklots pythons I thought were both males.
