PLEASE HELP US... my 3yr boa moved into a large cage 2 wks ago.. we have left her to settle.. she has rejected 2 rats.. thats no like her and had been hiding in her wooden box..so today we got her out and omg she is really sick.. she hasnt shed properly kinda looks like she is burnt and under her is all yellow like rot.. we love her very much and as its sunday and no vets could you please tell us what to do and what we done to her to cause this... with thanks stephanie anderson

   It sounds like something to do with the new cage. Check all your husbandry and get her to a a vet ASAP. Here is a care sheet that outlines perfect conditions for a Boa. Follow it, get vet care, and she should be fine. Keep in mind that she can go 1 month for every foot she is long without eating and be fine, so dont worry about the food. It is most likely an infection of some sort. Send pictures to me of the injury on her underside and of your set up. lasher9@gmail.com
