snake will not eat

i got my son a baby Mexican rosy about a month ago and it still hasn't eaten i thought he was going to shed but he hasn't so now i don't know what could be wrong.he was kind of cloudy looking so we left him alone but today he didn't look cloudy at all there is no skin in the tank can you help me?

Hi Justin,

when snakes shed their eyes do cloud over and then 1 or 2 days after that they clear again. the snake should then shed in a further 3-5 days. this is probably why your snake is not eating.

however it isn't uncommon for a snake to miss one or two feeds or even more. if it doesn't feed for a month or two then there may be a problem.
