lump in borrises tail

hi i bought 2 grey rat snakes from a reptile rescue center about 8 weeks ago they are both doing realy well but about 4 weeks ago i found a lump about half inch away from his vent i rang the lady who i bought them from and she said it could be a fat build up an not to worry but i would feel alot happier if i had a 2nd opinion

Lumps are odd in snakes. Over my experience, most lumps are something else (tumors, scars from previous injuries, pockets of infection, etc..) I am not a vet and am not qualified to give you a medical opinion, but I suggest that you see an exotic vet to be sure it is nothing major.
