Question
My boa just had babies. Do I need to take them out of the cage that houses their parents? What do I need to do for them? Please instruct.
Thank you

Answer
Congrats! I would remove them from the parent's cage.  Set them up on newspaper.  And make sure to provide a large water dish for them to get into and some sticks to help them shed.  They will not need to eat until after the first shed, so don't stress about that yet.  When feeding time does roll around be sure to separate them to feed.  And then be sure to keep track of which have eaten and which have not.  I'd recommend plastic caging rather than glass (cheaper, lighter, no breaking).  Baby boas should start on either pinkie rats or hopper mice.

Once they are eating you can start looking to sell them.  Remember, you are not a pet store and you will most likely not get pet store prices.  If you sell to pet stores remember they have about a 150% mark-up (or more).  So if you see them selling a boa for $60, they are probably only going to pay you $20-25.  Send me a picture of the parents and the babies and I can give you some idea of the wholesale value.
