snake aquriums

Okay, I don't own a snake myself, but I have a question about putting a large snake into an aquarium. Now would the snake be able to easily escape? I mean its just glass? Could they not break it, depending on the size, and the tops are feeble, could they. Not break out that way?

   Yes, a large snake would be able to break out of that type of enclosure. Easily. If you have a snake 6' or bigger, you need a custom enclosure, not something from PetSmart. I have 2 8' Macklot's pythons and they are in a 4' X 2.5' X 2' enclosure that is wood on 3 sides and plexiglass on the front reinforced by wood.
