when to introduce another snake

I have a 16 month old female royal python, i am getting a 1 month old male royal python i would like to put them in same cage. when could i safely do this?.

Answer
Because of the size difference I would not do this until he is bigger. They will need to be within 6 inches of each others lengths is what I would suggest. This might be awhile due to the age difference but I am not sure how kindly the female royal would take to a youngster in her cage. She might be fine, but then again she might not.
