Question
I have a six week ball python. He has only shed once but it looked like he was going to shed agin. His skin got real ruff and whitish, and his eyes got the greyish tint and looked milky color but now they have cleared up but I dont see any sign of his shed? We have a 4 foot ball also and once his eyes clear up we see his shedding laying around. Could my baby have skipped a shedding? Just a concerned momma sorry but I call him my baby.

Answer
Hi Saundra
Don't worry!  Your baby python WILL shed.  Most snakes go through all the signs of shedding such as the whitish color and "blue" eyes..then all of a sudden it all disappears.  But that is normal because a few days after that the shed comes off.  Nothing to worry about.  Thanks for writing :-)
