Question
My son has 2 corn snakes a male and female, the female did the nesting thing in the spring but wasn't pregnant. Now she looks as if she is pregnant as the back end seems to be flatter but thicker and you can feel lumps, but both snakes are acting and feeding as normal there is no sign of any nesting going on.
Could she be pregnant or is something wrong and a visit to the vet a good idea.
She has produced eggs before but the weren't any good

Answer
It is rare for a pregnant snake to eat but not unheard of.  I have one that would eat while in labor if I let her, so yes, it is possible she's pregnant especially if you see the lumps.  Watch for a shed and then she will lay about 10 days after that shed.  I'd remove the water dish about 5 days after just to be safe.  I don't think you need a vet visit but that is up to you.
